DAY 1: ARRIVAL TO SARAJEVO - WELLCOME
Arrival to Sarajevo. Accommodation at a hotel. Overnight.
DAY 2: SIGHTSEEING OLD TOWN SARAJEVO
Second day is reserved for Sightseeing tour of the Old Town in Sarajevo-Baščaršija. Visit to the City Hall, Gazi Husrev-bey's Mosque and Clock Tower, Emperor's Mosque, Latin bridge and other historical places. A panoramic view on Sarajevo valley is a great start for getting to know Bosnia. Free time for lunch. You'll have the opportunity to try some bosnian food. Free evening. Back to hotel. Overnight.
DAY 3: BLAGAJ (BUNA) - MOSTAR
This day we are moving to Mostar, where we can see Old Tsar vineyards and magnificent valleys full of fruit trees. Further away, we arrive at our main destination point, the small town of Blagaj. Blagaj Tekija is considered to be the one of Bosnia and Herzegovina's most holy and ancient sites. The stunning half-timbered tekija rests beside the fast-flowing blue green Buna River, which spills out of a darkened cliff-cave. Time for taking picture. Then we're going to Mostar, the largest and one of the most important cities in the Herzegovina region. It is situated on the Neretva river and is the fifth-largest city in the country. Mostar was named after the bridge keepers (natively: mostari) who in the medieval times guarded the Stari Most (Old Bridge) over the Neretva. check in to a hotel in Mostar. Overnight.
DAY 4: KRAVICE WATERFALLS - MOSTAR
First stop Kravice. Kravice Waterfalls are placed in the Studenci, on the river Trebižat, some 10 km from the town of Ljubuški, on the way to Čapljina. It is protected by BiH as a natural rarity. The waterfalls have two opposite faces – the summer calm and winter wild. Free time for lunch.
On your way back to Mostar, you’ll pass a medieval town Počitelj with a nice castle ruin and steep cobblestone streets. It was bombed during the war but mostly repaired after. It’s worth the stop.
The historic site of Počitelj is located on the left bank of the river Neretva. Počitelj now appears on the list of 100 most endangered cultural heritage sites. It is predominantly characterized by Oriental construction styles and the Mediterranean style blend which give this town a special dimension.. Back to hotel in Mostar. Overnight.
DAY 5: KONJIC - NERETVA RAFTING - SARAJEVO
Breakfast and check out from hotel. Drive towards Konjic. It is the municipality in northern Herzegovina. The municipality extends on both sides of the Neretva River. The Neretva river is the emerald of Herzegovina flowing over 100 kilometers from its source into the Adriatic sea. In the upper canyon exists some of the most exciting rafting in Europe. Expect deep canyon walls, endemic flora and fauna, and a wild & pristine ambiance. Lunc included in rafting program.. Back to Sarajevo. Overnight.
DAY 6: TRAVNIK - JAJCE - BIHAĆ
Breakfast. After breakfast you will visit Travnik, known as the Ottoman Vizier town. You will see the colorful mosque of Sultan Suleiman and pass on to the Vizier Tombs, known as the Ottoman Turbe and a Picturesque Cemetery. This day the ride continues to Jajce. It is a town built in the 14th century, located in a valley and watched over by a fascinating Roman Fortress. During those times it was the capital of the Independent Kingdom of Bosnia. The most famous site of Jajce is the river Pliva Waterfall. Here we're going to have a lunch break.
After lunch, trip to Bihać.
Bihać is a city on the river Una in northwestern Bosnia and Herzegovina, in the Bosanska Krajina region. The town is teeming with café’s that inevitably gravitate around the beautiful Una. Accommodation at a hotel in Bihać. Overnight.
DAY 7: NATIONAL PARK UNA - ŠTRBAČKI BUK
After breakfast we will visit Una National Park and Štrbački buk. National Park UNA is one of three national parks in Bosnia and Herzegovina, famous for its cleanness and emerald green color. Visiting the waterfall Štrbački buk. Free time for lunch. Overnight in Bihać.
DAY 8 : BIHAĆ - VLAŠIĆ - SARAJEVO
After breakfast trip to Travnik. You will see an uphill trail which leads up to the mount Vlašić. Lunch break at the mountain. Back to Sarajevo.
DAY 9: BIJAMBARE - KULIN DVOR
Bijambare speleological area is a protected natural site located northeast of Sarajevo. Bijambare Caves are a speleological complex surrounded by thick conifer forest, two brooks, small lakes, several springs and a great variety of mushrooms, medicinal herbs and some rare endemic species. Bijambare cave tour with a local guide, cca 45 min duration.
After Bijambare sightseeing, on our way we stop for lunch at Kulin Dvor restaurant. Transfer to hotel. Overnight.
DAY 10: TREBEVIĆ (SUNNYLAND) - SARAJEVO CITY CENTAR
Sarajevo is inextricably linked to the mountain Trebević. Some believe that it is a separate mountain that is connected to Mount Jahorina, while others are convinced that it is simply one part of the Jahorina range. Visit to Sunnyland at Trebević, the amusement park.
After Trebević, visit to Sarajevo City Center and free time for lunch and shopping. Back to hotel. Overnight.
DAY 11: FREE DAY - GOODBYE SARAJEVO!
Breakfast. Check-out from the hotel. Transfer from the hotel to the airport.
