DAY 1: ARRIVAL TO SARAJEVO – SARAJEVO OLD TOWN TOUR-MOSTAR
Arrival to Sarajevo. At arriwal is planned sightseeing tour of the Old Town in Sarajevo-Baščaršija. Visit to the City Hall, Gazi Husrev-bey's Mosque and Clock Tower, Emperor's Mosque, Latin bridge and other historical places. A panoramic view on Sarajevo valley is a great start for getting to know Bosnia. Free time for lunch. Drive towards Mostar. Check in to a hotel.Overnight.
DAY 2: MOSTAR - BLAGAJ (BUNA)
This day is reserved for Mostar, the largest and one of the most important cities in the Herzegovina region. It is situated on the Neretva river and is the fifth-largest city in the country. Mostar was named after the bridge keepers (natively: mostari) who in the medieval times guarded the Stari Most (Old Bridge). Free time for individual activities. After that we are driving towards Buna and Blagaj, on which road we can see Old Tsar vineyards and magnificent valleys full of fruit trees. Further away, we arrive at our main destination point, the small town of Blagaj. Blagaj Tekija is considered to be the one of Bosnia and Herzegovina's most holy and ancient sites. The stunning half-timbered tekija rests beside the fast-flowing blue green Buna River, which spills out of a darkened cliff-cave. Time for taking picture, eventualy lunch.. Back to hotel. Overnight.
DAY 3: POČITELJ –VJETRENICA (RAVNO) - STOLAC
Breakfast at the hotel and then we'll begin our trip. On your way, you’ll pass a medieval town Počitelj with a nice castle ruin and steep cobblestone streets. It was bombed during the war but mostly repaired after. It’s worth the stop.
The historic site of Počitelj is located on the left bank of the river Neretva. Počitelj now appears on the list of 100 most endangered cultural heritage sites. It is predominantly characterized by Oriental construction styles and the Mediterranean style blend which give this town a special dimension. It's also interesting and well-known as host of the art colony with the longest tradition in southeastern Europe. After break, ride to Vjetrenica cave that is a hydrological active, speleological and drifty object with even four water streams. The 7,014-metre-long cave is located in southern Herzegovina, laying at the edge of the Popovo polje which is well-known as one of the biggest karstic plains in the world. This cave is a tourist attraction since 1940 and it was extensively arranged and electrified in 1964.
On our way back you will visit Stolac is blessed with the Mediterranean climate, incomparable ecological diversity and some of the most fascinating cultural heritage in Bosnia and Herzegovina. In this beautiful Mediterranean city you will visit the Vidoški castle above the city, with stunning views of the town and its surroundings. The quaint, unusually beautiful, sunny southern town of Stolac lies in southern Bosnia and Herzegovina, in the Vidovo polje (karstic plain) and the Bregava River valley. You will have a refreshing break at a secret local swimming spot on the crystal clear river Bregava. Free time for lunch.. Back to Mostar. Overnight.
DAY 4: FREE DAY - GOODBYE SARAJEVO!
Breakfast and check out from a hotel. Transfer to the airport in Sarajevo.
